The photographs date from 1906-1952, and subjects include various bridge construction projects in Oregon, including the Ross Island Bridge in Portland, Or. and Bridge of the Gods on the Columbia River; other building construction sites in the Pacific Northwest; views of mining operations in Alaska, taken while Gallagher worked there in 1906; and photographs of various Gallagher family members and their travels together, among other subjects.
